Create an Action Plan

 Dear SBPD Team,

Throughout the tasks, you all have been reflecting on your own and your peers' practices and skills, expanding your knowledge and understanding of your role, appreciating the strengths, and identifying areas for improvement.

Now is the time to create your action plan. From the 3 areas you have identified as areas for your development, prioritize 2 areas for the next academic year and create your professional development plan. The format is shared with you in Google Drive. You will make your name folder and upload your completed file by Monday, 26th June'23 morning. The link for the drive is:

Evaluate Youself!

Use different lenses (your own reflection, discussion with the teacher with whom the lesson was conducted, observer's (PDSI's) feedback, and peer's feedback on the blog to complete the task below:

Evaluate yourself as per your role and responsibilities and identify 3 areas you would like to work on in the upcoming academic year to improve your efficiency and effectiveness as an IC or SL.

Your focus should be on effective and meaningful co-teaching/ demo lessons.

Comment as an expert!

Read the comments shared by your peers while reflecting on their lesson conducted. Keeping in view your learning of what makes a good lesson plan, pick any ONE of the reflections and give constructive feedback as follows:

  • Mention the name of the SL to whom u will be commenting.
  • Appreciate one thing about the lesson conducted.
  • Suggest one strategy that can make the lesson even better.
  • Write your new learning after reading the reflection
Make sure not to comment on the same colleague if already she has been given feedback.
